sorry but i cant seem to be able to up load pics, some times it does but i dont know the correct way to do it, i have gone to the advanced and uploaded the pic but it doesnt appear on the thread where it says show thumbnail i have tried many times, could some one pls explain it to me i know i sound a bit thick but i use and enjoy bl so much i would love to be able to show my pics, thanks and again sorry to bother you

Usually wherever the post is hosted on the web I right click and choose view image. Then I copy the url from my browser. I go to the post I want to have a pic in and push the insert image button

. It puts the image tags out for me and I paste the url in the tags. The tags look like this[IMG][/IMG].

I'm using firefox if the view image step is different in your browser I can do it in your preferred browser and see how that step would be different.

Hey goaheadanja,

Are you talking about inserting an image already hosted online into a post, or adding an attachment which happens to be an image?

The first is how most people share pictures by uploading it to another site like photobucket and then linking to it. To display it in the thread requires image tags.

If you'd like to add an attachment then you "go advanced" and click on the paperclip. A popup window should be made which then allows you to browse for the image you want to upload. It has to be one of the formats listed in the popup window and can't be over 97.7kb which could by why you are having problems if you are trying to upload highdef large pics. Once you've browsed to it be sure you click upload before closing the window.

I've attached an image below so you can see what it should look like. I hope this helps and if not try and explain again in further step by step detail what exactly you are trying to do.
