Posting a video from tablet gallery

So my digital literacy is some what wanting
I've only just managed how to figure out how to post a youtube video yesterday
I'd like some advice on how to post other videos/ pictures in my library
I realise this is an issue probably no other bluelighter has but I'm slow on the uptake when it comes to these things
I have no problem sharing other media on what's app ,email etc but stuck with this site

YouTube is nice because you can paste the direct URL / web address / link.

Photos are more difficult, and personal videos the most difficult.

The forum responds to "BB code". So you'll need it to upload the picture to an image hosting site, then copy that code. I use imgbb.com, and the final code looks something like this:



Steps to get there, is imgbb.com -> "start uploading" -> select the picture -> "upload" -> then the BBcode from the embedded code drop-down menu.
 
For videos, I use Vimeo.com. Its a bit of a task, but it's basically like YouTube but more private in the sense that there is no feed of videos from random people. But you can share your videos. Thing is you have to create an account and all that.

Thanks for the advice ,I'll practice first before I press the post button and make a twat of myself 🤣
 
Oh, i didn't know it was 5 minutes. Good to know. Then after that it probably stamps your post saying that you edited it right?

Sometimes when I'm attempting to give a thumbs up emoji on what's app I give them the finger 🖕 then have to text back sorry lol.

It's easy done
Another one is when you end your message with "cheers" but predictive text changes it to "cheat"🤣
