Dude, I listened to your stuff on myspace. I like the 3rd tune the best, mostly because I dig the effcts on that track. I would try to work on the recording process, bring everything into a crisper more present focus. I would also suggest you had some other element, be it bass, or some programmed or real drums, or vocals, samples, whatever...it sounds like you are just jamming out. Which isn't bad, and could be developed into a stylee in and of itself, but on my first listen of your stuff, I feel sometimes as if the music is hard to hold on to attention wise because it sounds jammy. There are a lot of cool riffs in there though. And your guitar playing is pretty good, at times realy good. In any event, keep on the path, you have got something good here.

Now, if anyone else would listen to each other's work instead of just posting your own stuff, then we'd have a worth while group here...

funny to see another cat in FL workin with DZK. that cat's been on some underground shit for a minute now hasnt he? the only thing i've ever said that's bad about him is he always sounds so underground, maybe he likes it that way though. if u get some time check out my music page also, the link is on my sig.

Thanks! Well yeah the main reason it sounds jammy is because It really is just me jamming, While stoned, drunk, high on DXM or a mixture of all the above. So its not making for some very proffesional stuff. Anyway I have been trying to fuck around with fruity loops, but it just isnt working.... I dont know, some vocals are getting dangersouly close to being recorded.
 
^^Not too bad, sounds kinda like a couple of black crows songs. Not sure which ones. Could have used a wah wah pedal at the 2.00min mark for the jazz style strumming for extra credit. They got the all American soft rocker look down pat. Songs even the oldies can enjoy from looks of the crowd.

Maybe it was just the timing....maybe there was something there before it taken down I have never heard of the hosting site (not that I am the www street directry)...it just reminds me of a similar scenario...you're hovering with a dumb look on your face questioning the real value of a dollar coin vs the price you could get for cashing in a coke can....you decide to see if there is any coke left in the can to make your decision easier...and then BAM!! you put your foot on the prankster of the sea...a rockfish, and bingo we have something that resembles a virus or other mutant life form.....or perhaps you were the unfortunate sod who walked under a boat during malting season for boats and got hit with a the sucker punch of a hundred barnacles sucking in all once. Maybe too far....but hey, I'm high....and bored.

friend of mine is an exceptionally good guitar player, mainly into the classic rock style (he can probably play any zepplin or floyd song you can throw at him, and play them perfectly guy is pretty good)

anyways this aint about him. He keeps getting emails from this other guy he met on craigslist begging him to start a band. The band starting guy, well, he has some pretty "interesting music"

here's an excerpt from some of the emails:

- Looking for a bunch of guys that want nothing better to do but to whup some ass!

This is my music...It isn't played perfectly and the quality is low...but while listening ur imagination..some pretty sick riffs....i have great equipment but im just recordin directly from guitar to pedals to computer..heh
 
The Faint - Live video i took in austin 12/12/06

Took a 33 minute video, including the whole encore from my digital camera. now its not the best of videos, but its watchable and the audio turned out better than i thought it would since you can clearly see i was standing directly in front of the speakers. enjoy!
