CatfishRivers said:I agree. There are so many ways that an instrument can act as the narrative element of a song. I love music that is instrumental, or that has nice instrumental sections between vocal parts. I especially love when bands have singers who sing without "real" language (i.e., sigur ros). .
CatfishRivers said:Hah awesome comment dude. I took a listen to yer myspace songs. Pretty interesting guitar work. Reminds me of Pink Floyd in alot of ways. I will give you the official stream of consciousness listen later on tonight after I am out of the work mindset and more in the duuuuuuude mindset...
edit: btw, you show up on my freinds list on myspace. Only one person needs to accept the friendship for both to have the other show up in their freinds pile.
I should use mp3.com more often. I signed up a whil eback, but mostly I use this other site www.uberlabel.com. I am like #11 or so on the top artists list there...but I don't think that means much. My arch enemy on the charts is named Sly Boots. He's going down.
double edit: I just checked uberlabel after ignoring it for a couple weeks. Sly Boots has succumb to the juggernautic force of Catfish J. Rivers, esq. III. I am now ranked #8!!! woot. Dork party at my place tonight!
