Here's another song that I love, a little darker than the last. It's an East Bay classic and would've fit well in the "punk" thread too, but it's more topical here (even though it's not *just* a drinking song).

One of my favorite Linda Perry songs. She did what’s up with concrete blonde but so much more solo. She’s an alkie/addict as nd you can’t deny her lyrics and inflection.

This combination musically makes such sense and touches the heart. The fusion of Linda perry and Grace slick is just unbelievable. It’s sadistic and nihilistic as well. It’s deep and dark but so ripe with raw power. Awesome.
