"How about a boat that's not a boat? Take one plank out, and it's the same as it ever was, it's just got a hole in it, that's all.

Take out a whole lot of planks, and then suddenly you need to ask yourself, "What the fuck am I looking at? That ain't no boat, that's just a fuckin pile of wood, man."

"That lassie got glassed, and no cunt leaves here till we find out what cunt did it."

-- Frank Begbie

Great movie, hilarious scene.

The bed scene with Begbie was also marvellous.

Selfishness is not living your life as you wish to live it. Selfishness is wanting others to live their lives as you wish them to.

Oscar Wilde

Is this quote correct? The sentence does end in a preposition.

Here's another version.

Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live, it is asking others to live as one wishes to live.

Oscar Wilde

"Fuck everything."

I don't know who I'm quoting though, but I like it.

“Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't own it, but you can use it. You can't keep it, but you can spend it.
Once you've lost it you can never get it back.” Harvey MacKay.

There is a lot more that is to be said then that is what is actually simpler and more powerful.

It is more efficacious to act your way into a new way of thinking .... than it is to think your way into a new way of acting.

Most therapists make the exact same mistake that people in troubled relationships make.
They waste incredible time, energy and breath trying to convince somebody to think differently.
Right. When all they have to do is insist that they behave.

**than, not then

**than, not then

That is so funny. I kept changing the than back to then and then again when it changed to that again then I changed it again thinking why than.
( autocorrect.) kept doing than instead of then.

At least I'm aware then that the then was than and indeed not then. rotf But yes, absolutely appreciated. lolol. Usually autocorrect is annoying as then.

Darn a.i. I miss human already. wink wink smile wink smile. Maybe a little bit sad as well.

Are we making a list of who owes who an apology ?

The above quoted from another part of these forums.

An eye for an eye makes the whole word blind ~ (Ghandi)

My take:

An apology for an apology makes the whole world apoplexed.
