What's with the brain fog lasting for weeks after you stop??? This is by far the most annoying part of this. I have a job and shit to do. I can't be foggy for weeks at a time just because I had a little fun on the weekend!!

Give it a few months, and fingers crossed it'll pass. Doing regular exercise is likely to help speed things, if you don't already.
