Altogether I'm not really surprised. Not that delayed onset nausea should be expected that much, but the combination of all the things you mention give a reasonable chance that it will affect your body in such a way. Headache is also a fair possibility.
I guess it's fair to say it was the combination, nobody can answer if you'd had the same reaction if you did every drug the same except for any LSD.
Yet, looking at the potential for LSD alone to cause post-trip nausea seems pretty low to me, so I don't think it contributed as much as the rest.
Typically for me when the acid feels quite pure in general, I have the least side-effects.* But with dirty acid there is a very big chance for me to get a more anxious or tense body and my stomach tends to get very rumbly and unsettled, almost cramp-like... I don't know.
You say you ate a lot before dosing... that tends to make aforementioned matters worse for me. Also I become very aware of my stomach being 'loaded', probably all from general body sensation enhancement. It's like the food is foreign baggage. And the type of food matters as well. Healthfood feels good to me but fatty food and unhealthy or heavy food, I naturally tend to avoid when on LSD. When sober, I am not into healthfood that much at all. I guess on acid you become more conscious about what your body 'likes' and what it does not.
*Anyway I don't think it's LSD purity alone that is a factor. When I first started tripping on acid I had to get used to it and it gave me anxiety that manifested psychosomatically. The very first trip was perfect and peaceful and I did not feel a negative bodyload, but I could not stop burping. Looking back, I am convinced it wasn't because of acid impurity but from anxiety of my own.
It's very tricky to determine where your own anxiety/tension ends and impurity induced anxiety begins, which may be one of the reasons people are skeptical about acid purity having any real difference whatsoever.
As it happens I now have exceptionally pure acid as well as pretty dirty acid which makes it more convincing, feeling the significant difference. I had no reason to think the bad acid was that bad, I realized this from the consistent experiences of myself and my housemate. The dirty acid really made him hurt a lot, for me it was a characteristic profile of side-effects from ergoloids, maybe a little flu-like feeling.
Sorry about the tangent but to get back to the main point: with such a cocktail of drugs I think it's pointless to either blame the LSD or question how much it contributed. The best way to find out is to look at future trips with the same batch, but without combining.
Are you okay with the thread being closed? I think those few answers were quite enough and I don't see this thread going anyway. But perhaps you do?
