Post a pic of your pet

My cat 'Fluffy'.

I've had her since 1993 - she's predominately a house cat nowadays.

NSFW for size.
NSFW:

Many moons ago she disappeared, then, after 3 days of searching we found her struggling to get back over our garden hedge with a broken back leg.

My only conclusion is that some heartless bastard must of kicked her. (We lived next to a park at the time were all the yoofs would hang out).

She's fine nowadays - despite having a phobia of plastic bags and motorcycle helmets.

^Aw, she looks a bit like my cat. Same age too. :)

a friend tried to take our wee kitty for a walk recently, with a ribbon lead, as you can see he wasn't having any of it :D

I tried putting a lead on my mainecoon when he was still a kitten and he flipped out and started bouncing off the walls :|

Haha tekken he looks well pissed off =D

Mine has a harness that he prefers to being locked into his carry box. Though the minute the harness appears he usually fucks off under a bed :\

Looks like an endearing cat :)

With regards to those leads, bugger them. When I'm at home from uni it's a rural place my cat will actually walk alongside me through the fields it is NAIZ.
If you coax them outside they should probably follow you I reckons.

^ My cat does that!

If you walk down the garden with her, she'll stay by your side. If you stop she'll stop and wait for you to move again. Or she'll get you to follow her, by stopping then running off, looking back to see if you are following. Clever cats.

aww so many cute kitties!
Noel has a leash but Tony thinks its gay to put a leash on a cat. He doesn't even believe in collars though.
We just leave the screen out of our bedroom window and they go outside and play on the lower level of the roof...

The original pic from my first post is gone so you can't compare, but my kitty's lost a fair bit of weight over the last 2-3 months. He used to look like a big ol' turkey from the back, but now he's all skin and bone. So he's off to the vets tomorrow to get thoroughly checked out as I've been worried about him in his old age. His behaviour's still the same, but the weight loss is troubling me somewhat. :(

Here he is a few minutes ago:

Fingers crossed for Puss tomorrow. :)

:(

I can remember his face very well from your last pic. He has shrunk dramatically , poor wee thing. I hope the vet can find what ever the matter be and help him on his way to recovery. Hopefully it's just old age stepping stones. Everything crossed for puss tomorrow <3

When I wrote oh dear 'what ever the matter be' I started singing this song. Julie Andrews <3 You'll like I know.

my gfs parents have some cool pets, these are some photos from the other weekend!

Aw, thanks CCF. :) <3

My mum took him along today and the vet gave him a good checking over for lumps etc and couldn't find anything. In fact, she said he's in excellent condition for his age. And has a lovely coat on him. It's just it's hard to brush him now as it hurts him. She reckons it's just his age, and he has a few gammy teeth which might need removing (he's already lost a fang, which I thought he might have swallowed). Other than that we're just waiting on some blood test results to come through next week as there's a chance he could be diabetic. But I'm so glad she didn't find any lumps in the ol' bugger. :|

I got him a lil' treat for being on his best behaviour too. A tin of crab meat from M&S. He usually wets himself or goes into a blind panic when he goes to the vet, but apparently he was very docile today so he deserves a treat methinks. :)

^
Glad the news was positive for your kitty today Tribal - I'll have my fingers crossed that his blood test come back ok. He certainly has lost a lot of weight 8o but still such a handsome creature.

Mine is turning semi-feral :| out all day long now and coming in in the evening with a bad attitude threatening to scratch the man's furniture :D

Thank you. :)

Maybe it's the move that's unsettled him a lil'?. There certainly seems to be some resentment there. :D

My cat's always been a bit feral, so I can relate. He's only just started sitting on my mums lap after 17 years. But she has to be covered over with a blanket before he jumps up. He's a funny ol' thing. =D

They had to shave his neck to take some blood. He's a bald necked pussy. :D

I couldn't be without her anymore :)

^Beautiful. :)

It seems my kitty has a thyroid problem, and he's gonna have to start taking some pills as of next week. If he doesn't take them, he's gonna need an operation to remove his thyroid. The good thing is he hasn't lost any more weight since they weighed him last and he's still eating loads. Just not putting the weight on.

According to my Mum, she reckons he had a panic attack when she brought him back home. Tongue hanging out and everything. She almost called the vet again. Looks like my entire fucking household suffers from anxiety. :|

He's currently napping peacefully in the shade beneath the bed. :)
