Post a pic of your pet

Snolly, please check if Mr Frog likes weetabix.

He does indirectly I guess, cos I feed his locusts on them :D

Shy sitting on Snolly's head? I think not... :D

Love the photo though... I never had any idea frogs could scratch & bite mind but glad he's settling in to Casa de Snolls.

Ah tis the lizard that does all that! The frogs can bite, they have no teeth as such but a really strong jaw. They are known for being a bit evil and the new frog is more lively and will hunt, but no bites or screaming yet...

We got into a "Fenton" type scrape with him chasing sheep halfway up Ben Nevis, or rather my Dad did heh. Danny got quite a beating for that, to the very embarrasing shock and disgust of lots of onlookers.

Ahh... yes. Dogs in the olden days used to get a bit of a slap, same as us kids. It was the only thing we all understood, and didn't do us any harm. ;)

Don't have a photo handy, but my mum's baby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has Dalmatian front legs. Black spots on one leg; brown on the other. Cute as fuck. <3

We visited a Pets At Home last week, and my fight-or-flight response kicked in when I saw the locusts jumping about in their little salad boxes. Fuck having them about the place. :D

yeah they definately understood alright. Whenever he'd been up to no good he'd enter the room in the most comical cringing shit eating grin type of way, as if feeling guilty/expecting a beating. Not that my Dad was exessively prone or eager to dish out the beatings, he just kept them for when he'd really deserved them. Even though Danny undertsood perfectly well that he shouldnt do certain things, he still wasnt able to resist doing them.

I like Spaniels. The parents of one of my friends had one, it was lovely but very shy, i gather that's quite common for the breed to be that way around strangers?

Haha... kids and dogs alike. :D

Well, different types of Spaniels have massively different characteristics. E.g. Springers are fucking mental powerhouses of muscle and energy who just want to fuck the shit out of chair legs, children, walls, and other dogs regardless of their gender. ;)

But young Cavs are usually shy until you get to know them, either by feeding or walking them. After that, you can't get rid of them, they act like sitting on your lap for cuddles is their God-given right. My mum's new one is half way there with me after I gave him some bacon fat off my plate. :D

edit: Charlie, the baby:

Love King Charles Spaniels, me nan had one when I was little <3

Locusts don't bother me, not keen on crickets because they smell but Mrs Snolls is terrified of em both. She mocks me for being scared of house spiders but put a locust near her and she's off. Remember my mate used to have loads of reptiles etc. so she bought a bag of ~1000 locusts. You can imagine what happened when she opened the bag...

Did she have to follow it up by opening up a bag of darkness?

cf. Exodus Ch. 10, for those who don't get it. Actually, if you don't get it, just fuck off.

I had a bath only this morning and the hound was at the groomers yesterday hence the fuffyness, he's 8 now and starting to get soppy in his old age <3

No pet at the moment but gonna post a pic of my aunties old dog, she was lovely, used to spend hours exploring the farm with her when i was a lil kid, the surrounding fields and woods, it was almost as if she sensed i was a kid and wanted to look after me

Fun time in the bath for little Tara.

Ok, they completely hate the bath, which always leaves my hands scraped up something nasty. It had to be done though.

Percy, the corn snake, sticking his head out to see if he can catch a glimpse of the smelly rodents.

Roy, the Royal Python, being his usual self. He's just a baby and he's quite shy.

Your ratties are adorable. Love ratties my boys had 5 over the years, adored everyone, they could do tricks and everything. The man says if I bring any more into the house he'll kill em

Yeah I love them. They do some little tricks but they're very independent-minded, being little female ratties.

I really need to get rid of them though because I'm allergic to them. I'm munching down on the anti-histamines most days, but I lurves them so I can't bring myself to say bye. I also know how funny they are around strangers too. I'd hate to give them to a new home that has young children, or someone who can't devote a little bit of time each day for them.

I'm pissed off about being allergic because I've bred mice and hamsters before and never had a problem. I've also never had a problem with cats or dogs, just the rats :(

Sorry to bump the thread, but I was cleansing an SD card to give to someone else, and found this wee picture I'd forgotten about.

Whenever he makes eye contact with me, whenever he's getting it sweet, I like to say ''It's alright for puss''.

To be a cat.
