Post 7 positive points about your body

This thread is too awesome to let go by the wayside. Bumpity bump!

Boy, this is going to be tough. Here goes nothin'!:

1) My naturally dark hair. I've always been told people would die for my color hair--Maybe that's just my grandma though. :P

2) My eyes. Says "hazel" on my drivers license, but I like that they change colors depending on what I'm wearing and sometimes depending on my mood.

3) My hair gets a little red in it in the summer when I'm outdoors a lot. I do enjoy that.

4) I have a fast metabolism--Or so I've been led to believe. I think I just eat too much. 8)

5) My vision isn't awful.

6) I've never had horrible acne.

7) I've been told I have nice hands. *Shrugs* I think they're pretty average but whatever--I needed a seventh positive point. :P

I like this thread already.

1. I tan nicely (after the first couple burns at the beginning of the season).
2. I gain muscle very quickly and often retain muscle figure and strength even after not exercising for a month or more.
3. My calves are nice. I might just have a thing for calves though.
4. My hair goes from a medium brown in the winter to a dirty brown / blonde in the summer. It's like highlights without paying the money!
5. Everyone's got light blue eyes or brown eyes lately. Mine are green. :) Well... blue on the outside, and a hazel / yellow color on the inside. They're green though.
6. I have horrible eyesight (maybe... 20/215?) and can do small item work with 20/20 vision about four inches away from my face. I don't have to worry about focusing.
7. Hearing impairment works in my favor from time to time. I don't want to listen to people bitching about school. Instant solution: take out hearing aids.

I like my broad shoulders.
I like my skinny waist.
I like my upper back and how it quickly it responds to training.
I like my eyes, which are blue and tinged with green next to the pupil.
I like my capacity to grow a beard.
I like my height.
I like having high arched feet, even though they hurt sometimes it looks cool [to me].

List threads/posts are my favorite type and this was the hardest one yet for me to fill out. I was born with hemihypertrophy so positive body image was never a strong suit of mine.

1. my hair is awesomely thick, long, and wavvy
2. my face is model-like
3. I can run multiple miles, up hills, before I get tired
4. I only grow a minimal amount of hair on my back
5. I'm slightly above average height
6. I have perfect vision and hearing
7. I've been told I have 'very soft-skin' by multiple females...

perhaps I should edit this post when I'm not drunk?

Gee - this is a very good thread... I have a love/hate relationship with my body but here's to 7 things to remember next time the hate is winning...

1 - there are almost no visible stretch marks, despite losing approx. 20kgs a few years ago
( and mostly keeping it off :))
2 - I get told that my skin is very soft and nice to touch, by boys and girls ;)
3 - Even when my weight fluctuates a bit, I stay in proportion and it goes on or comes off evenly
4 - 5'8" is a good height for me
5 - my right knee had a reconstruction (complete ACL tear with hamstring graft recon) 4 years ago,
and it's better than it was before that now
6 - my boobs are nice, according to all reports (including the gay boy at Rev's the other week, who felt
the need to let me know... thanks mate!)
7 - my eye colour is kind of nice, bluey/green

Aw, shucks... body love!

You sound lovely, Adelady :) You certainly have some nice points :)

My 7 are:

1) I love my hair and hair colour. It styles well, and is naturally a kind of dirty blonde/brown with blonde streaked naturally through it....looks great if I may say so myself (I dont feel like I own it or anything...im just a soul in this physical vessel so I can describe it as an observer and enjoy it!)

2) I like having blue eyes. I swear to god, everyone where I live is brown/black hair and brown eyes. I like being different, I reckon the blonde and blue go nicely together.

3) I put on muscle easily and love having a 6pack

4) I like being 6 foot 1!

5) Apparently I have a nice smile and I like having a chiselled jaw structure. I get a lot of compliments from the ladies, which sounds egotistical but when you are as self-conscious as I am, then you don't see it as pretentious vanity instead utilising these comments as tools with which I may build my confidence :)

6) I tan really easily and despite having worked 8 hour shifts in the blaring sun without sunscreen (I don't believe in sunscreen :D) have never burned once or even come close to it. That's a real blessing I think - even in Barcelona, for 2 weeks I was in the July sun without sunscreen and didn't burn at all.

7) My legs and calves respond really well to working out. Many guys will spend years trying to build up their calves but they just won't get them that big at all....mine however respond to the slightest bit of weight training and are pretty ripped if I may say so myself.

Anyone else feel horny now?

Fantastic idea for a thread, forces us to think about the positives, rather than idly think about the negatives.

Let's see...

1. Eyes. I've been told by many, many people that I have beautiful blue eyes. I wear glasses, so often people don't see their color, but when they do I almost always get compliments.

2. Height. I've been hovering around 6'2 - 6'3 for about a year now. I like having height over most people, gives me a boost of confidence. Not to mention when I'm in a crowded room it's not too hard to find people, or for people to find me.

3. Weight. I've always been a skinny kid. I'm actually pretty lanky, but in a way I'm thankful for that. I can eat anything, and never get fat. I'll get a gut, but I won't get fat, which is always a convenient plus. Plus if I ever decide to bulk up I'll be trim!

4. Intelligence. Not really a part of the body, as much as the mind, but that is part of the body so I guess it does count. I'd like to believe that I have a fair amount of intelligence. I know I'm no genius, but I also know I'm no dummy! I scored a 139 on my IQ test when I was younger. I'm self aware, and very conscious of the choices I make. It's important to be aware of anything and everything. Just like everyone, I get moments when I feel stupid, and like an idiot...but I also feel very confident in the wisdom I hold inside my head, and that gives me a lot of confidence when making conversation when people.

It's getting difficult to come up with answers now...

5. Hair. I have long straight dirty blond hair. Not very thick, and with a slight receding hair line, but I've been told my hair is very soft. Girls seem to love playing with it, and rubbing it. Knowing that always makes me feel a little better about my hair.

That's all I can really come up with...I can't think of any other positives about my body to be honest. This is a great idea for a thread, like I said before.

LOL. I can't believe I'm posting in this thread. I feel so heavy and sluggish lately and very unattractive. I need to boost my self confidence so I'm gonna focus on what's good.

1. I do like my eyes. They are dark brown. I think they look good when I put makeup on or without.
2. I am short. 5'4"
3. I have really tiny feet. Which is cool cuz then I can get all kinds of cute shoes on the clearance rack :D
4. I think I have a small bone structure, so when I am not ten pounds overweight like I am now, I do think I look cute and petite.
5. I have a nice round bootay. lol
6. I like my hair. Right now it's too short though. My favorite is when I let it grow really long and just let it dry wavy and crazy.
7. I have an extra bone on the back of my feet that most people don't have. So I'm special! :D

In a few months I'll be reposting saying because I'm in shape.... lol I need to lose this weight I've gained from zoloft! Gah! I used to have strong willpower but this just takes it out of me.

...7 positive points....

Firstly.....

....extra bone on your feet = awesome.

Secondly - nice round bootay! Excellent! The "Gluteus Bootaymus" is undoubtedly the best part of a lady's body.

Firstly again, for the hell of it, I actually recently saw a pic of you when I was trawling through Second Opinion pics thread I think, and I must say you are very pretty indeed, so there's one to add. "I'm hot" :)

Wow......this is an oldie.
I read my old post and I would change some things- it IS a few years old now :)
So 7 things now I like about my physical body:

1. Still love my eye color.
2. My eye shape
3. I've gotten used to my nose. It is FAR from perfect. I was always envious of girls with small noses that have cute curve and pointed ends...mine is the opposite. It has a hump in the middle, is small for my face from one view and crooked looking from my profile- but it is unique, so I like it.
4. I have always hated my teeth b/c they are crooked and not like some peoples perfect smile (n3o;)) but I LIKE my overbite. While my teeth are, like my nose, far from perfect and rather ugly to some- Everyone has straight teeth- I like my crooked teeth :D (Yeah, I will probably catch shit for that one)
5. My legs. They're good. I should show them more often.
6. My skin tone. I'm paler than pale but I love it.
7. My lip shape.

Now if I could only find someone else who sees these odd things about me as cute, I would be happier about them =D

1. dimple ftw
2. my head of hair shows no sign of thinning despite more than a decade of serious abuse (dreads, all the colours of the rainbow, etc). once a day wash, and it stays healthy and strong and in shape. the greys are coming, but that doesn't bother me at all. my chest and back are essentially bare of hair, single strands here and there are hardly noticeable. my facial hair is also minimal by nature, i can't grow a full beard, only a van dyke. therefore the skin on my cheeks is smooth as.
3. like fatman, i can wiggle my ears by tensing the muscles behind them
4. my eyes are fairly symmetrical, have a colour and shape which suits the rest of my face.
5. also like fatman, my calves are very strong.
6. although it's far from perfect (or even complete), my various inkings and now scars too are unique (except the bantha skull on my shoulder, which is cliche)
7. i have a huge head, but you can't see it. every time i'd share a hat with someone i'd have to loosen it to fit on my noggin.

well

1. my hands
2. my teeth
3. my hair
4. my ears are flawless, they are the most normal part of me...lol
5. the resilience of my spine
6. the resilience of my ligaments
7. the resilience of my heart....<3
yeah yeah

;)
