Possible Upcoming Drug Test

What's going on guys, I have a question for you. I am trying to get on with a company my friend works for, they have a high turnover rate, and with him being an employee it's possible they could call real soon. My only problem is the pre-employment drug screening. Now this is a laid back company when it comes to drugs, it's not a job around the public and most of the employees use some kind of drug, even on the job. This is allowed because they really don't care unless you get your job done.

Now I have a script for Xanax for some issues with panic attacks. However, this script is low(0.25 mg once per day) and I always run out early. When this happens I also have access to Klonopin, though I don't have a script. My friend says that they use the dip stick test at a nearby clinic for this company.

So my question is what do all of you readers with your own experiences, knowledge, etc. think my chances would be of going in and passing this test with Klonopin in me? Would they just dip stick it and say I pass because I'm prescribed Xanax, or would they send it off to a lab for further testing? Another note about how relaxed this company is on this, is my friend says they give several hours in between your interview and scheduled time to bring back the results so that people who are dirty can purchase and use a masking agent before the test. Though, I don't really know what kind of arrangement they have with the clinic if you test positive for something and have a script for a drug in that family.

I have only had a couple drug tests before, and both companies were pretty straight. I know the drug friendly attitude of the company is to my advantage. But I'm still not sure if they do call whether I should take my chances or buy some Totally Clean or something like that.

Unfortunately we cannot answer drug testing questions here at Bluelight.

If I speculated I would say that they would test for the presence of benzos only and your legitimate script would cover it.

However, there is no possible way for us to know their procedures. Good luck!

As the others said, we don't allow drug testing questions here on Bluelight. There is a closed drug testing sub-forum (from back before we banned drug testing questions) that you can search. I would just see if you can find out what type of testing they are doing (like is it a 5-panel, 10-panel, do they do further screening on positives to determine the exact substance, etc). Many basic tests only show positive or negative for classes of drugs, but we have no idea how in-depth your prospective employer's test will be.
