I have been taking Subutex for almost a year now.
I started at maybe 2mg a day. That's when I felt the best.
Well in January I started taking more for some reason.
One problem is I have never measured out how much bupe I take. I don't even have certain times I try to take it. I believe I was taking maybe 5-6mg a day for the first few months of the year. Maybe more maybe less. Like I said I have always had problems measuring out how much bupe I take.
In January I started getting the tiny arrow Subutex pills. Way smaller then the ones I was getting before. But when I hose clamp grinded them down I was taking just as much as I was with the pills that were maybe three times as big.
Well I realized I didn't like the way it was making me feel so I decided to go back to taking around 2-3mg a day. Maybe a little more. I started getting the larger pills again also. This was maybe a month ago. I didn't taper or anything. I just wanted to take less so I did. I know opiates don't work like this but I never really thought of bupe as a normal opiate.
At first I was fine. I actually thought I felt better.
Yet in the last few weeks I have had all kinds of unexplained health problems. I have had pretty bad pains in my mid section. Muscle pain all over. Back and legs mostly. The mid section pain seems to be gastro and it worsens when I eat. Btw my appetite has worsened over the last few weeks also.
Worst of all I can no longer relax. It used to be no matter how bad my day was I could come home and take my klonopin and just relax. Well the klonopin has done nothing to me for the last few weeks. Sleeping is very hard.
Also possibly the most annoying symptom is I am always hot! No matter what I always feel hot all over. Like I have a fever but I don't.
I was having pretty bad constipation issues on bupe before on the larger doese. In the last few weeks I have started drinking a whole lot more water and increased my fiber intake. Well I have had much more normal bowel movements. No diareah though.
Is it possible that my more regular bowel movements are me just going through slight bupe withdrawal?
Main symptoms are pain in my mid section. Pain in back. Legs ache. Always hot. Aways have terrible anxiety. Depression has also worsened a lot. I was depressed before but now I just feel terrible.
My pupils still seem to be constricted though. Bupe has always constricted my pupils. If my pupils are ever dilated it is only slightly.
No other obvious opiate withdrawal symptoms that I can think of.
Could it be possible that I am that stupid? All this I have been going through the past few weeks has been opiate withdrawal. I didn't even think of it until now.
It would be easy to find out I guess. Just take more and see if the symptoms go away. I would rather not do that with the constipation issues the larger doses were giving me.
So any opinions on this?
Any opinions on this?
Would this be like if I was taking 100mg of oxy and then the next day started to take 50mg without tapering?
I know when I was taking oxy if I took half of what my tolerance was I wouldn't be the same and I would notice it.
I'm just looking for a reason that explains the way I feel right now. I guess this is a pobbibility.
