(answered) Possible to combine accounts?

I just remembered that I still have the login details to an old BL account of mine. I was not attempting deception in creating a new login, and I have only been using this account since it was made.

Is it possible to have the old account deleted and have its handle placed on my current account? Or should I just forget about it?

You could ask in Support, but I'm fairly sure that you can't.

Thank you for the quick reply Toucan. I didn't know if the situation would be different considering the handle swap would be from an account that I made in the first place.

No, unfortunately we can't combine the accounts, or change the user name on either. More or less, you can opt to stay with the account SirTophamHat or if you would like to switch back to the older account aberrant (I believe) that's fine too. However which ever account you aren't using will need to be deactivated.

Let us know what you decide so we can take the proper action. As this was clearly not a malicious attempt to create an alternate account, no worries over any disciplinary action.
