I was just thinking about something I experienced a few years back and it got me wondering, am I ever gonna experience negative side effects because of it?
What is the likelihood that this has had negative long term effects on my heath?
(liver damage, ect.)
And if it does have these effects, what would be ways of "healing" them.
Heres briefly what happened:
One saturday night I was attending a party at my then girlfriends house, prior to the party I took an Adderall or two and a couple Percocets(dont remember how many, at least 3, no more than 6). I brought a 40ounce bottle of vodka with me to the party planning on sharing a with a few friends. After arriving I started drinking from the bottle after having a beer or two(approx. 8pm).
The next thing I knew I was waking up strapped to a hospital bed, it was 3:30 am.
I had no recollection of that night after 7:50pm, and I still dont.
I dont actually have a somewhat clear memory until around 8am.
All I know about my condition at the time is what I've heard from my mom and what I've read in hospital reports.
I was brought to the hospital by ambulance at 8:52pm.
At 4:20am I had a BAC of ~.32 (stated in hospital report)
My mom said that earlier in the night(around 10pm) she was told that I was an 8 on "some consciousness scale"(im guessing Glasgow Coma Scale).
I was given a drug test at around 5am, but interestingly it tested negatively for amphetamines, marijuana and opiates.(All things that I know where in my system.)
Other info:
I was young, 15 at the time. Does this make it worse?
I was later told by people who were at the party that I had drank almost 3 quarters of the vodka bottle by myself.
I was drinking a "decent" amount around that time and did have something of a tolerance.
I had next to no opiate experience.
Any input you have would be really appreciated as Im now pretty worried.
Also, if you can think of a reason that my drug test came up negative for all those things, id be interested in hearing it.
This may be the wrong forum to post this in, but i didn't know which would be better. If it shouldn't be here id appreciate a mod moving it.
