Bupe Possible Hep C risk?

Today I bought a sub from a "so called friend" and when I got home and examined the strip I was shocked at the condition of it. There were cotton fibers on it, water damage, and a hole in one part. The seller obviously tried to shoot the damn thing and after touching it I washed my hands with rubbing alcohol as he is known to have hep-c. After tossing it in the trash I sat down at my computer and a few minutes later scratched the inside of my nostril with my fingernail. I scratched the nostril opening (next to the bridge of my nose) and couldn't have gone in further than 2 millimeters in. I called a hep-c hotline and was told it's virtually impossible to contract hepititus from that scenario. Should I get tested or am I being neurotic?
