Help i cant get high

Hi this is my first post on this site though I have used it for years to do research. But I have a weird thing going on right now and I can't seem to find any info on exactly what I am talking about. So I have used opiates for 4 years now and 8 months ago began shooting. Everything was going smoothly until about a week ago I tried my first speedball (coke and dope). The experience itself was amazing and I have done it several times since then. But 2 nights ago I began to feel a weird pressure in my neck a bit after a speedball. It felt as if there was some kind of blockage in the veins of my neck leading up to my brain. I was telling myself it was just anxiety until I did a hit and felt absolutely nothing except the pressure in my neck increasing. This freaked me out and I began to look at my neck in the mirror. At the spot I felt the pressure (kind of under my collarbone) there was a small bulge that hurt to touch. Not excruciating pain, but an uncomfortable sharp pain. I then noticed it moved or swelled up when I put more pressure on the spot (I clenched my fists and pushed the blood upwards like when pushing out on the toilet). I have tried to break it loose, but I am not sure if thats a good idea and it is stuck on my collarbone anyways. After researching a little I decided to sleep on it and look at it in the morning.

When I woke up the entire right side of my body was asleep/numb. It surprised me, but my whole life I will wake up fairly often with some parts of my body asleep. So I shook it off and decided to get it checked out. I went to the hospital and they checked me out but the bulge was gone, but not the weird pressure I felt. They weren't very helpful and would not tell me what was going on, but after some tests they said I looked perfectly healthy and suggested it may be anxiety related and to stop my drug use. I had work soon so I got up and left before they were really finished. At home I decided to try a hit before I left. And still nothing. I couldn't feel a damn thing except the pressure getting slightly worse. So I snorted some and that at least got me through work. Since then, I have tried several hits with no result.

Soooo my question is has anyone heard of anything like this? Is it a blood clot? Could it actually be anxiety? At this point all I can do is wait it out but I am afraid this clot might break off and do some damage to my body.

That's weird man I honestly don't know. I mean if the hospital said your cool then it's hard to disagree with them. I'm assuming you have rotated to a different vien to rule out the possibility that your go to spot is collapsed? If you had a blood clot big enough to feel like that you would likely be dead already. But the numbness is very concerning as well. I don't know man. I might go to a different ER and not mention the drug use and see if they will take you more seriously. A lot of med proffesionals hear I'VE drugs and blow off everything you say after that.

If you are concerned about a clot and have already been to see a doctor, I would suggest beginning an asprin regimen (baby aspirin works great) to thin your blood and staying very hydrated. Make sure you're filtering properly, especially if you're shooting pill . Micron filter. Take a hot shower and monitor before and after to see if it makes a difference.

Also make sure you are aware of the signs of a stroke. If you do have a clot you may well get more and one might be in your brain.
