High School, who is popular, who is a geek, who is a scrub. These are the common lables of kids I hear and see everyday. Cant we just be who we are anymore not having to worry about what everybody thinks of us. I am one of the lucky ones who is free from it all. I used to be who they wanted me to be. They being the crowd, the teachers, the parents. I was a prep,I hung out with my cool prep friends. I still do but I know now they arent my real friends. Constantly judging my actions, critisizing and complaining. I found myself wanting to get away so i did. I dont care about what they think, I am going to do what I feel and if they dont understand that than they truly arent my friends. I dont care about popularity anymore, its about how I feel and who I am.
Sorry about the babbling, I just needed to express this because its been bottled up inside too long. I feel good now

your learning what we know as we get older,, popularity no longer matters, what matters is you and how you feel about you. Popularity does not matter in the real world.

OMG! That happened to me! I was in the "in" crowd in 8th grade and gradually became sick of their shit. I mean I still talk to them but I have a set of friends who love me for who I am. Keep going... things will get better!
