Poppy?

I got a question, I've been seeing this shit around lately that everyone is calling Poppy. I've smoked it multiple times and its very strange. Its not opium, but it looks like very good weed, but flattened out. The high is like smoking some good opium or taking 3 or 4 vicodins. The only place it seems available is in the ghettos around here. I'm GUESSING that it is nugs sprinkled with a very small amount of heroin, but I really couldn't say for sure. Anyone out there know what this shit is?
 
It would have to be some seriously ultrapure heroin for you to feel the effects from smoking it off weed. I would think you'd be able to see the powder in it too.
 
Well, the only place I can get it is Hartford, CT. In the Ghetto only. People roll it into blunts and smoke it with weed. I don't know what hte hell it is, but the couple times I've tried it I felt like I was floating. I'm clueless on this one
 
I seriously have no clue, I'm just guessing. I think you'd be able to see the powder, too. Maybe it's weed that has been laced with a liquid form of a dissasociative, or perhaps a tranqilizer or something along those lines. Again, I'm just guessing. I'm not sure as to the effectiveness of smoking liquid dissasociatives--other than PCP--or tranqs. Another possibility is maybe it's just a placebo effect after you--and other people--get yourself worked up over it.
 
You familiar with the taste of honey hash oil? I believe I heard someone from Washington D.C. or thereabouts ask me about the same thing and that's what we came up with. It might also help to say how much it sold for -- you know it's not heroin if it cost you $10 for your nug, for instance.
 
oil doesnt give you an opiate type buzz at all, its more like a much "cleaner" pot buzz.. somewhat like hash, but more intense.. also, it wouldnt be on weed, if it was, you could definitely tell, as it has the same consistency as honey.
