Poppy tea

I'm wondering if one used a bit of quick lime in their tea if it would help release more opium. I spent some time in Peru and used to chew coca leaves. I always used a pinch of quick lime because it aided in removing the alkaloids, making for a better delivery of the coke. Any thoughts on this?
