Sorry I did not know the rule about sourcing but let me know if this is okay to ask and if not once again i am very sorry. I didnt really mean like a particular place or anything like that, I more meant like can you even get them at a store or something? I know you can buy them at stores but are those ones you can make tea for it, I have still been searching and searching all over bluelight and the internet and keep coming up with complete different answers. Thanks again, and if this is not allowed again, once again i am sorry
 
Poppy seeds are poppy seeds. You can make tea out of any poppy seeds; whether it will be active is another question.

You can make tea out of dirt too. It tastes better and is less likely to kill you.
 
as long as they are papaver somniferium you are ok, i believe most of the poppy seeds that they sell in grocery stores are papaver somniferium (because these poppies are mass produced) and as far as i know the seeds themselves arent illegal because they do not contain opium

Poppy seeds are only active because of trace amounts of dried opium latex stuck on the outside of the seeds. Wherever you buy the seeds (store/internet) if they have not been washed (i.e. the opium is still on them) then they will be active. If they have been washed then they will not be active. Some suppliers wash them and some don't.

The seeds are legal in at least Canada and The US. Processing them to obtain opium is not legal and planting them in order to grow the plant is also illegal.
 
you won't have any luck with poppy seeds that you find packaged in major grocery store chains. You have to find somewhere that sells them in bulk. I've been a PST addict for about a year now and I can tell just by looking at the seeds if they're any good or not. You want to looks for dark, almost black seeds. If they're blue/light blue/gray than they've been washed and are useless.

Oh, and moderation please. I'm living proof that this shit is very very addictive.
 
I have seeds that are greyish/blue that have definitely not been washed.
Also if you are making tea from bulk seeds you have no way of knowing the potency,
I believe some kid died from making poppy seed tea, the store switched the type
of seeds they used and the kid OD'd because he didn't know they were
using different seeds...and like all opiates moderation is good :)

^If you're going to start threads without doing the most BASIC searches or checking the directory, don't be surprised when people answer like that.
