Poppy tea is the fucking devil

so do you get a comedown from it?
Or a positive glow?

Im only going to do it once per week max.

But will doing it once a week fcuk up your opiate receptors and make me more depressed than I currently am and hence make me crave it.

Im hoping to do it as a sort of treat for working hard all week and have the willpower to do it only once per week as with gbl everyone said how addictive that was and I dont even do it much (once.twice a month)

Dude I'm gonna be honest with you. I started doing it for the same thing. Just on the weekends as a reward for working hard all week. That didn't last long. I now drink it every morning before I go to work (in small doses) and then when I get home from work as well. On the weekends I stay wasted on it. It is very addictive. I will admit that I get addicted to things very easy but be careful.

To answers a few of your questions. I don't get a hangover from it but it does have a bit of an afterglow. It can last for a long time. High doses have lasted up to 12 hours for me at times. I kind of enjoy the afterglow as it still feels pretty good.

As far as making you depressed I don't have any knowledge or experience on this matter. I am a generally happy person so it does not depress me but I don't get depressed easily.

I just started on small amounts a few months ago. I take it everyday for pain relief now. It's my only real hope right now. I do feel as tho I need it as soon as I wake up now and that kinda sux cos I've got a really unimportant existance to continue.
Peace,
NW

^ To me its like a typical Morphine high. I don't like it as much as some other opiates. I like stuff like oxy's cause they get me kinda "up". I start cleaning and shit. Pods are a much more sedated high. It's still a great high though.

Yeah, pods are like a mix of hydrocodone and xanax for me--heavy, sedating, somewhat euphoric, and very dreamy. The visual effects have almost reached psychedelic levels at times, especially with eyes closed. Everything looks bright and kind of "illuminated", your body feels loose and heavy, drowsiness comes and goes, appetite comes and goes, sleep is difficult, euphoria is mild and comes in waves, and anxiety is eliminated--even marijuana-induced anxiety. Weed is GREAT with pod tea. That's been my experience with pods anyway.

However, if you haven't started, I'd advise against it. If you decide to ignore this advice, steer clear of overuse (more than 2x a week and you're gonna get mild withdrawals) and don't consume grounds or whole pods, which can cause worse withdrawals, faster increase in tolerance, etc. And be sure to take an antihistamine 30 minutes-an hour before use to avoid histamine-related side effects, as they're often MUCH worse than those caused by other opiates. I prefer non-sedating Claritin-D with pseudephed; Benadryl knocks me out too much.

If I don't put at least 4 days between my use, I get some pretty negative effects, like itchy/gooey/painful eyes and eyelids, extreme fatigue, and a screwed up appetite. It seems that pod alkaloids build up in the body more than other opiates (opinion), increasing the need for longer "breaks" between uses.

i have been taking tramadol for about four months now as an antidepressant (also for knee pain-which funny enough is depressing) and i was making and smoking opium and drinking my pods when the opium was gone. i havent noticed any withdrawls at any time and the most tramadol i will do in one day is 150mg.

am i just a lucky shit.

btw my opium was amazing little brown translucent sticky crystals when you smoke it it feels like an orgasm in the front of your head like you skull is melting.only for about 2 minutes though and then your monged up

You're story sounds exactly like mine. I use the same way- in the morning, at night, and lots on weekends.
