Opioids poppy tea and hearing loss?

when i drink poppy tea, i seem to experience partial hearing loss for some time after the trip (maybe for a month)... has this happened to anyone or otherwise been reported?

I know that tinnitus is a fairly common symptom of hydrocodone abuse, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if the same could be true for poppy tea.

I find after consuming Poppy Tea, my hearing is sharper!
