ok, first i don't need to hear that it doesn't work - i live near the Amish, and they sell the real deal seeds. i do a rinse of 1lb of seeds (about $6) and get effects that i equate to about 40mgs of oxy. was on a bundle a day H habit, then moved to the middle of nowhere, of which getting clean was a part of... well i guess i never really kicked cause i used the seeds to ease off the hard stuff and now a year later get sick without them.

so now i am wondering what other things am i ingesting when making this stuff? does anyone know? the water is dark yellow, has brown colored sediment and other particles floating in it, which i've assumed were the good stuff, morphine, codeine, whatever...

but the reason i am starting to be concerned is i only have 1 kidney (which hasnt been checked in about 20 years) and all that shit is flowing through it.....

not like i'm gonna stop or anything, just curious if any of the scientists here know what else is typically found in that tea?

Don't bump your threads, we're not a live help line.

Unless you have your stuff tested professionally, you can only guess at what you're ingesting. In the best case it's just opium latex with all the normal sort of plant stuff - morphine, codeine, noscapine, papaverine, thebaine, etc, in the worst case you may have high levels of heavy metals or pesticides in the seeds. You can't tell from looking at it or tasting it though. All you can say is that it's poppy seed tea.

There's lots of threads on the health effects of poppy tea anyway. The opioid addiction is probably worse for you than ay other aspect of it.
