poppy seed tea and clonazepam

first off I apologize about all of the poppy seed tea posts I've been making lately but this really is the only place I have to obtain knowledge from people with experience.

anyways, I take two .5mg clonazepam a day. one in the morning and one at night. I have for ten years now. I am extremely tolerant to this dose by now.

So my question is.. obviously taking opiates ( and especially pst which is new to me) and benzos is a bad idea.

but is it bad to take my normal dose I'm used to with the pst? it wouldn't be a recreational dose .. just a normal dose. is it still incredibly dangerous or should I not think twice about it?

Try going with 1 clonazepam dose instead of 2. Either that or drink less PST than you would normally.
If you're not too sedated and your bp & pulse are ok, you can still go ahead and take your 2nd dose of clonazepam. Wait for the PST to fully kick in if you're gonna do this.

This is cautious advice, but if it's your first time mixing the 2, it's best to be overly cautious.

I took one this morning. I didn't sleep last night and now I'm tired, and of course I think it's cuz of the interaction and I don't want to fall asleep yet just in case.

I'm sure it's fine though. but yeah that's good advice, better safe than sorry.

..pst half life is pretty long.. eh?

Just go to sleep. You only took half your benzo-dose, correct? 0.5mg clonazepam isn't all that much anyway. With the tolerance you claim to have, I don't think you need to "stay awake" to minimize risk, you only need to do that if you're starting to nod out or some shit. Just go to sleep, and skip the other 0.5mg clonazepam for today.
