So about an hour ago I finished a glass of some poppy seed tea i made today. This is my first time trying this, or any other drug other than weed and E, which I do sparingly and lightly. I've tried vicodin before when i had it prescribed, but it was so long ago I don't remember what it felt like so i can't compare - anyway, what I'm feeling right now is rather nice.
I put about 8 oz. [.5 lbs] of black poppy seeds in a juice bottle and added a little bit of water, just enough to give it a mushy-mud consistency. I purchased the seeds at a mediterranean store today, brand name "Sadaf." After I was done i strained it, made a huge mess and proceeded to clean it, which was something to do as i waited for the effects to begin.
I began to feel "something" within 15 minutes. I was kind of out of it and my shoulders began to feel warm and heavy. I smoked a cig and went for a walk and just started to feel really relaxed, which I'm thankful for as it's been such a stressful past couple of weeks. I could really go for a massage, but I feel like every time i move my neck it feels so good that it may as well be a massage.
As I write this I'm starting to get itchy, something I remember from the vicodin I was prescribed way back. I'm still coming up on it I think, it's been a little over an hour.
I'm really satisfied with the results. I think this tea would be perfect if I ever have an uncomfortable post-E experience. Usually I feel fine after rolling, just tired and a little anxious but something like this would curb any bad feelings I might feel, so I'm glad I experimented with it.
This is my first trip report ever so I apologize if it may not make much sense or seems repetitive compared to similar reports, but I wanted to share my experience and add to the list of positive experiences with the poppy seeds. =]
