Poppy question

I'm not saying withdrawal from poppies isnt as bad as heroin, I've never been through poppy withdrawals, so your right, i wouldnt know. I'm just saying that when i'm NOT physically dependent on opiates, like right now, poppies are a better choice for me because I don't have the urge to do them daily. Poppies are definately strong, but I still don't find them nearly as enjoyable as heroin or oxycodone. Because I dont enjoy them as much, I have a much less intense craving to do them everyday, thus not becoming dependent on them as I would by doing heroin. I hope that makes sense, maybe it doesn't, either way this is all in my experience, everyone reacts differently so...

Yes, pod withdrawals are definitely hell, I had to go on suboxone to get off them the last time I was on them, fortunately I was able to taper off the subs within a month of switching and it wasn't too bad. The next time I quit I know will be harder and I suspect I will have to be on subs longer, you play you pay.

I actually prefer pods to oxy or vicodin, maybe it's an acquired taste or maybe you just need to find the right source and the best method of preparation. Everyone is different.

And a junky is a junky. Shoulda never took those Vicodins as a teenager, should have never read all that William Burroughs and idolized those junky musicians. But I did and here I am.

sorry complete novice here a are you talking about making poppy tea and it getting u high.

^You mean, to eat the grounds? Then yes...

The coffee grinder is helpful regardless if you are eating or making tea really, though. If you're talking about tea, then what is really important is to do at least two washes with the grounds. You won't get all that you can get on the first wash through most tea making methods, especially if they aren't all the way ground.

Pretty much any opiate use turns into an addiction. (Blanket statement.)

Bullshit. Any opiate user can become addicted, but most opiate users do not become addicted, of any opiate that I know of (around 23% of people who use heroin become dependent on it). The vast majority of opiate use never turns into an addiction.
