So I called my local florist and asked if he had poppy pods, but I read on wikipedia there is many kinds and I was wondering if the one he was selling me was the good kind, the one that contains alot of alkaloids, I read some poppy pods have up to 20x less alkaloids than others, so I wouldn't wanna be spending money on that kind.

This is the ones I bough 2 weeks ago. Are thoses the good kind? How do we differentiate them?

I just bough for 20$ of this kind... the non dyed one, last time she had pink dyed ones, and I made the tea with the dyed ones anyway, dunno if it was toxic or whatever but i didnt feel any difference from them. I looked more methods for making tea and I think it was my method that was bad, i just shook the hot water with the poppy powdered pods and i didnt let it steep for 15 mins like advised.

Hope i'll get a good feel out of this one.
