Opioids Poppy pods i have, when in water become greasy.

Pods become gooey and greasy, is this the latex and they are fresh, they look fresher than other batches and are softer. The seeds inside stick to the inside which never happned before.

Whats the reason for this?

Sounds like they're fresher, except for the word "greasy", which means oily, which I can't explain. I don't think poppy pods should be "greasy" ever....

Basically its only when i put them in water, what i do is put enough water so it is just above the pods when i push them down. I do this method so there is not a lot of water so i can plug, I have done it for most of the time now which is around a year. I have had positive results but I don't seem to any more probably because of tolerance. The water would always evaporate a little but since I got this batch it evaporate much more and the water becomes oily and when most water is gone and I squeeze pods its a thick water, my finished product is very thick, I have never seen latex apart from the net but like that. i have to add water to water it down a little or it gets thicker. Iv never had the seeds stick before either i have no idea what that means. Also i see the circles when in the water just like oil, do not know how else to describe them.
