It seems to be impossible to find information on just trying opiates ONCE. I've been searching into the topic though and have a fair idea of what I'm up against except for that one factor, the once thing. :P I understand it's not the kind of thing people do only once generally, but I'm the kind of person to want to catalog an experience just to know what it's like.

I intend to chuck out/destroy beyond all desperate recovery, all but one good healthy looking pod (the size of a cherry), BEFORE trying. I know the potency is random and unpredictable and a cocktail of opiates and other alkaloids.

I expect a crappy day after, if not more than one crappy day.

I have NO tolerance, no experience with opiates. I understand that can make things risky when it comes to tea.

I've got zero black market social skills or connections, and not even a plant growing.

I'm skinny. Low body weight, cheap drunk, etc.

I'm aware that the potency can vary wildly from pod to pod, strain to strain and whatnot.

I'm considering just not doing this at all in the first place and just sticking to good ol' ornamental gardening. I'm in no way committed to this course of action.

So I'm here for advice, if anybody's got any experience with just using once and not having access to another dose.

Questions:

1) Could I OD on one single pod the size of a cherry? (assuming it happens to be more potent than the average)

2) Could the withdrawal last more than a day or two with only one use?

3) If oral consumption is decided to be out of the question, what are the chances that a pod vaped by a machine at a controlled temperature will have effects? (I read somewhere in these forums that a variety of opiates are okay up to decently high temperatures so I wonder if anyone has tried this and had success)

Thanks in advance for any useful information.

It's certainly possible, yes. It is unlikely IMO, especially if it really is the size of a cherry. Some people can be allergic to penicillin and you may be allergic to one of the many alkaloids in the poppy. Start small, you can always take more but you can't take out what you've put in (easily, unless you're talking about fucking - then, it should be easy to get back in with all the natural lubrication and all).

If you have no experience with any opiod, then you will not get withdrawals after a single use. This is one of the biggest traps with poppies, morphine, oxycodone, heroin, <insert any opiod here> - new users can use for a certain amount of time without becoming physically dependent. Mentally, it's a different kettle of pigs altogether. You will crave, but know that you shouldn't use because of the potential to get addicted. Then you will start using more, because so far, you've been able to do a week, 2 weeks, fuckit, a month without getting addicted. You may even convince yourself that you are a special breed of person who simply cannot get physically addicted to this class of drugs. Then, when you are addicted, you will find it incredibly hard to stop, you may even lie to yourself, saying things like "Oh, it's probably just a bad flu, I know what will fix that, another <opiod of choice>. I've typed too much here, but I hope you get the point I'm trying to get across.

Why would you not eat it? I find opium is best put into capsules, it does taste foul - but if you don't have caps you can just break off chunks and swallow them with a bitter drink, such as strong lemon cordial/koolaid (I think that's cordial in US) and it's a lot easier to get down.

Vaping could work, but I have no experience so I don't know - it should. Maybe others can help with that question. Smoking it is very popular, and the little I know about vaping is that it heats your stuff just enough to vaporize, which sounds like it would be perfect for opium, which degrades at high temperatures.

Read this and potentially take my advice of boosting that "only once" thing to maybe two or three. Let me explain. The first time you use opiates, it is a good idea to test for allergies. That cherry sized pod or maybe a portion of it will do fine for this purpose on your "first time." After you don't get sick from that, prepare the suggested starter dose of 1-3 4cm "medium-sized" pods, I'd suggest going right to three and sipping on it in thirds spaced 45-75minutes apart. I do not believe that cherry pod will give you any noticeable effects, unless you are allergic or extremely hyper-sensitive. On the other hand, if you're like me and rather naturally opiate tolerant you may not feel the three pod tea at all, or simply have natural curiosity as to what a larger dose would be like. Nothing wrong with wanting the full experience including the nod(may take up to 4 or even 7odd pods). The way I look at it, either be open enough to fully experiment, SAFELY and incrementally, or give it a pass altogether.

I have done opiates more times that I can count on my digits over he course of probably 6 years, never following any sort of dose schedule or limits, and I personally have never had a problem with even psychological addiction to them. I've never really fallen in love with it either though, and because of it I only care to do it maybe 3 days out of the year. Again, could be more, but it has been less. Your mileage may vary.

Cheers!
