Its fact that poor solubility results in poor bioavailability esp when taken orally. There are ways to increase the solubility and thus bioavailability of a substance which are very high tech and require lab equipment, however there are simpler ways that are targeted at regulating the ph of the particular substance. Many household and easy to acquire solutions can increase the solubility of a substance for example using lemon juice or vinegar to regulate its ph.
I am trying to find out what I can do since I am taking bee Propolis and Milk Thistle, neither of which are very soluble.
1) Are there any suggestions for improving the solubility and thus the oral bioavailability of these substances or any substances in general?
2) Since Propolis and Milk Thistle aren’t very soluble does that mean I am barely getting anything from oral consumption?
Thanks in advance
