Poor pills all around...

What is the reason for the decline in quality of pills everywhere (particularly in the UK)?

1) While thinking about this, it is obvious that a dealer or manufacturer will make a lot more money selling lots of low-mdma dose pills filled with crap which are easier and cheaper to manufacture.

2) The price of a gram of mdma is around 40 pounds. Buy what used to be a good pill, you'd only need to spend 3 to 6 quid a night to get out of this world. Seen this way, mdma seemed very expensive... Maybe manufacturers and distributors didn't want to lose out on this obvious price difference anymore.

What else?

I read an article in the daily mail four days ago (a very shit newspaper btw) that talked about how the use in 'e' was dropping in favor of cocaine; as the potency of the drug diminished, people fell back on to coke. What a fucking waste.

It isn't everywhere, they seem to keep getting better and better. The last time they were this good was in the 90's.
 
But alot of the pills that comes to the UK are well maufactured in the Netherland....the most pills we have in Norway comes from Poland, and Netherlands offcourse.

from the few people that i know that do E (in real life), its slowly changed from a one a night, to 2, then a few, and in some cases now, people need a whole handful for the desired effects, which still sometimes dont come because of cutting agents. eventhough the price is real low, quality sucks, but it has to do with the inexperienced new crowd (which im sad to be a part of:( ) that just wants more bang for the buck. we need either medical grade stuff, or some new distributor, who despite others being a quarter of the cost, still sells it at a price where he is happy, and doesnt haev to cut down on quality
 
I have to agree, pills have generally been on a decline (in purity) since the 90's...sadly we know those days are long gone. :(

Here in the states the problem is with meth-bombs. It's a shame that the kids these days are actually stating they prefer the "speedy rolls"....they don't know what they're missing. 8(

Ravenous I think you're being a tad too pessimistic. Here in the states, and i guess i can only speak for my own area, which is NY... it is undoubtable that the quality rolls of the early-mid 90s and even the late 80s are gone... When mdma first blew up I'm sure you didnt even have to look at your pill. You just drop, and you're on prolly 150mg of mdma (or mda depending on how far back you wanna go).

And this is true, this is the anti-punchline.. WE WILL NEVER SEE QUALITY LIKE THAT AGAIN. but

There are still quality rolls going around the US, and not too little of them. The Gspots that have been eaten by so many of us and we all have one thing to say... "THESE FUCKING ROCK!".
Ravenous, as a mod for pillreports you should know just how often they're mentioned on that site and on bluelight... because even I've noticed that every new pill, and especially mda/mdma combo that lands in someone's hands is suddenly compared to the Gspots

While it is defenitely true that nowadays you have to be much more cautious to avoid shit like methamphetamine in your pills, as long as you have a few connects with access to different rolls, and the internet (and even though i dont even have one, a testing kit would be nice but pillreports + word of mouth is good enough for me), you can avoid all the shit and find the good pure mdxx rolls.

In a nutshell, good clean pills are STILL HITTING THE STREETS. you just have to look for them.

Example: I can't take random pills, becuz i react badly to meth. So I make sure every roll i ingest is pure mdxx. And for the past few months, all I've been getting are pure mdxx pills.. the yellow mercedes from a few months back with the outdent (on your site, these were praised a few months ago, very strong and pure mdma), blue bears, the .G ladies, and the kappa sunflowers that I even made a report on (cuz no one else had a picture). And now these new sunflowers, which i have found a report for and they seem to be another clean mdxx combo.

Also, lsd is making a comeback at least in my area, thats something to be thankful for.

My only point is this:

This is not a time to cry, it just takes more caution than it did back in the 80s-90s to get quality rolls. You run a site which is devoted to this... and also I would say that while X is nowhere near "dead" and I can find lucy and stasy at any rave here in new york.. we have had "mini-comebacks" and with these gspots sort of setting a standard for how potent a roll should be, we may even see a revival.

Wish I knew what "raves" you were hangin' at!!
Damn nasty pills...I'm in NY too...guess not going to the right places.
 
Seriously can tell me what exactly is meant by "raves"
YOu mean clubs with rave type music or do raves actually still exist in NYC area??
 
The pills hitting the U.S. since early 2007 have been really good....actually much better than in years past.

Are you in NY area? Seems dry here lately, at least for mdma. Getting very frustrated.
 
it happens because everyone wants to make money... Fuck! Why cant every batch be like those "shrek 2", they were brilliant
 
depends who you get them off, admittedly there is a lot of crap on the market but theres still decent batches going around. (london)
 
you just have to know the best people... which isnt my case, I don't have much of a choice when I want to roll. It's not as if I actively seek good drug dealers, I just get what I can when I can.
 
Friend of mine just bought some very well pressed, non-scored white Tulips. I looked them up on pillreports.com. He given them back :)

It is poor. That's four lots of different BZP-type pills I've had/nearly had in the last two months or so. Thank god for the hearts I got last time.
 
be happy he has a person he can give them back to... many of us get stuck with the junk we have to buy :-(
 
Have to say i never really had a problem in getting Medium 2 high in Mdxx pills, you do just have to look....If you have the choice to look!!
Infact saying that i can get Molly very cheap aswell, but i prefered doing pills cos you can control and measure the amount you take! If that make sense?

But yeah you really only have choice if you live in London n maybe the other big cityz
