lub'd l2r's tbh.
/changed's worked on the whole profundity-angle, but didn't hit that chord hard enough
//albion's was just nice camera work and, tbph, that's easy as sin w/ best-buy's most generic equip nowadays

[edit: b4 ppl attack me for how i used 'profundity', let me elaborate. there was zero camera-tech* that was relevant, it was just boots-in-snow. it worked on a couple levels, but honestly have zero that my nephew could make something equally impressive if he had 20 exposures to work with.
*camera-tech being the entirety of albion's shot. as said, cam-tech is a given/requirement in this day/age.]
/dub-edit: actually saved l2r's shot a few days ago when i saw it.

In my defence it wasn't a great camera, I just spruced it up with photoshop.

I appreciate your in-depth critique (not something that happens often around 'hurr). Boots in snow, yes, and it cannot possibly convey what that shot means to me as far as memories-- mostly negative-- but some people've voted for it, so I guess it works on some level.

Just as a PSA, as per the rules, the use of photo-editing programs to alter an image (other than for the purposes of cropping/resizing) is prohibited. There's a lot of grey area in exactly how much 'sprucing up' is acceptable and how much is too much. Not really a discussion that needs to be had at the moment. No entries are being disqualified or anything. This is just a friendly reminder.
