Ehhh as good as a job as you do you assjerk this forum is always going to be about, is my coke good and can i take 2 of these 500mg vicodins.

im here, strange.

i havent been to od since the social disappeared. well, it didn't disappear, but, whatever.

i wish we still had the social, just without the hating. it was a place for me to hangout while waiting to give some advice, or answer a question, now i just don't come on. i understand the reasoning behind getting rid of it, and that we have the social forums, but the OD social crew was a good group, and it seemed to keep it more of a tight knit group. just me, i suppose. i mean, the forum is still up and running without it, but this is my feedback.

Geez, I've got nothin' but good to say about the forum. I've gotten a lot of help, answers and ideas here. Cheers!

Lately I've noticed more useless comments than ever (I'm talking just the past few days). I don't know how much you guys care about this, but its annoying and pointless. I'm talking about tons of people making anal sex/poop jokes in a thread about plugging and then six guys afterwards quoting the same text and saying something useless like "LOL." It takes up space and takes away from the flow of a serious conversation. I don't know if its new members, same old people who haven't read the rules, a result of the social thread being gone (or people thinking every thread is a social thread), or what, but its been too much lately. It might be a chore to go through and edit/unapprove the "LOL" posts, but I think it will enhance conversations quite a bit. I'm not saying its totally inappropriate to mention that something is funny or give a "+1" every once in a while, but when its done 10 times in a row in the same thread, or its the only thing that a specific person ever contributes, it becomes too much. Is this just something that I've noticed, or does anyone else notice/care (I'm mostly asking the mods).

Other than that, I think you guys have been doing a good job lately' there's been a good amount of mod presence. I understand that a mod can't always be around, so rules will be broken, but what matters is when a mod does get on they take care of problems rather swiftly.

^ Why does this post keep getting bumped? Its fucking pissing me off.

Ive thought of this since the closing of the lope thread:

The problems that occur in this forum arent due to the forum itself, or poor moderation. Its due to the lack of respect one has with other members. There was a thread where malfunkion stated that immodium AD made him high. Instead of this being a discussion where there are two points to the story, it was turned into an argument, where a lot of posts should have been handled via PM or other messaging medium. Despite my opinion on the matter, I would of LOVED to hear the facts from both sides, in a respectful and appropriate way.

Imagine how some of the newer members and guests feel about this situation. One would only think that this would make one think twice about posting or creating an account.

This tends to occur frequently. The only way this matter can be solved is for all of us to work together, grow up, and start having self-respect, and respect for others.

Flaming between members used to be infinitely worse in Other Drugs.
Just because it was "infinitely worse" in previous times, it doesn't make it right now. The whole point of me stating this is hopefully some of us could start opening our eyes, and realize were here to promote harm reduction. In my opinion, any sort of flaming and detailing talk could cause harm, since its taking away from harm reduction and replacing it with egos.

Don't beat yourself up over what someone on the internet says; they don't even know you for a start, plus is that really how you wanna be remembered?

You're right though, flaming, harassing and insulting other users is completely unacceptable. I don't care if they started it or provoked you or whatever... the right thing to do is to report their post or PM a moderator about it.
