Police Officer Pleads Guilty in Robberies of Drug Dealers

^ That's what I figured as well. I am sure that he had his reasons for not taking it along with the money but I didn't ask and I didn't care. That's just the price ya pay I guess, my boy that I was supposed to get the soft for was pissed but oh well, he didn't believe my story at all and I couldn't blame em because it really sounds like bullshit.

You are right, but it's not like he did it because he was a nice guy. Giving back the brick saves him the hassle of doing the paperwork and makes it much less likely the stolen $600 will get mentioned

Heh, a nice guy would not have even searched the vehicle.

Just saying, lots of dirty pigs would have made off with both the brick, & the money AND not doing any paperwork... It's highly unlikely in either situation anybody would make a complaint that they didn't have to get arrested, have to pay a lawyer and have a drug offender criminal record along with all the probation/jailtime, court costs, etc. etc.
