POLICE investigating the alleged supply of synthetic cannabis have uncovered $750,000 in cash during raids in the Northern Beaches area.

Officers seized the cashand drugs after executing a number of search warrants during an operation which began last month into the alleged supply of synthetic cannabis in the Northern Beaches area.

Following ongoing investigations, police yesterday executed search warrants at a home on Delmar Parade, Dee Why, a business on Whistler Street, Manly, and a storage unit on Winbourne Road, Brookvale.

During the searches officers allegedly located and seized 2kg of synthetic cannabis, cannabis seeds, cannabis, LSD and almost $750 000 in cash.

Investigators attached to Northern Beaches Local Area Command continue to make inquiries into the incident.

I am surprised that there is still a market for any of the synthetic cannabinoids. Weed is not that hard to find or that expensive and it does not carry the risks that the synthetic shit does. Why would you want to smoke synthetic cannabis these days. I tried Kronic when it was around and it was ok. Pretty sure that was JWH-018 but these newer blends sound downright dangerous
 
I tried kronic (pineapple express) and disliked it. Gave me some weird effects. I threw most of it out. I only bought it because my contacts were dry and had been a while. Never again. I'd rather go without.
 
I am pretty sure the one i tried was pineapple express too. I didn't buy it myself. A mate had it and i just tried it out of curiosity. One cone had me well stoned. All these newer cannabinoids sound bloody dangerous to me. Weed is safe. I would just stick with that if i still smoked
