Poison Control will not ID pills in my city now, has anyone else experienced this problem, and what the fuck theyre going to be killing off a lot of people that dont know what they are taking and fuck themselves up.
I guess the way they think is that if there is no one to ID their pills, then people won't take them.... which is stupid logic in my opinion... RXlist is good, but half the time they dont have anything.
It may be budget related. I know in my state many towns will not have local 911 operators due to staffing costs and the towns that do are being over run with calls. In one case, a caller was disconnected because the call center was overloaded (it was a Sat night) and it took the EMTs 45 minutes to get to the home and by then the patient was doa.
