I live in america, and most of my poetry and writing is observational so therefore most of my writings are my random observations of american society

Spare some Change?
Spare the time?
No, not for you.
Get a job, hate your life
Give up your dreams for American Idol and a processed hamburger
Spend your time obeying a talking box and eating microwave dinners
Forget your independent though and worship your greed tinted and silicone stars
Give up your humanity for a green piece of paper and a new car!
This world hangs in the balance
This is our world
You are breaking it,
Help me fix it

We are the land, the land is us, and it is this knowledge that binds us.
People, I think would do well to remember this
They have separated themselves from nature
Built their Metropolis' of rock
Unable to see past their towering buildings, they forget about Earthmother
They pay heed no longer to brother bear
They cast aside the old ways like a fool's manifesto
Through their crowded streets and past their towers of stone
A reckoning is coming
You have raped and torn
Burned and dug
Taken without any thought past your own greed and desires
All things belong to Earthmother
In time she waits....to take all back

any constructive thoughts, criticisms or suggestions?
