Poem To Crystal Meth

I hate you meth,
Why can’t you see,
The love, the life, the beauty,
You’ve taken from me.

You stole the man of my dreams,
And turned him into a drone.
He doesn’t love me like he did,
He’s fucking high, he just wants to be alone.

He’s never happy anymore,
He’s an emotionless shell.
And you are the only thing,
That he still does well.

Meth, you’ve separated us,
Created a divide,
Between me and the man
Who should be by my side.

I hate you meth,
You are the only thing wrong
With this perfect man,
I have loved for so long.

You make him weak,
And ugly inside.
You make me afraid,
That for you he will die.

With every day that passes,
He falls more deeply for you.
And the divide you’ve created,
Gets bigger between us two.

He used to put,
The stars in my sky.
But he doesn’t notice the constellations anymore,
Because he’s constantly high.

I hate you meth,
You even control how I act.
When he’s with you,
I am always watching my back.

I wish I could kill you meth,
Put your neck in a noose.
If you were a person,
I’d knock out your every tooth.

I’d beat you with a bat,
Until you could not breathe.
Then I’d tie a weight to your body,
And dump you in the sea.

I’d tie you by your feet,
To the back of my car.
Face down in the dirt and I’d drive,
Until I could drive no more.

I’d find a plastic bag,
And shove your head deep inside.
Then I would smile and laugh,
As I watched you fucking die.

I hate you meth.
You’ve ruined our life.
