Bluelighter
This week's poem is from someone who has been around Bluelight for a long time, and whose wisdom and warmness has persevered through many generations of BLers. She's one of my favorites, and she really has a way with words.

i feel i shouldn't invade upon this uncharted territory
that's supposed to be yours alone,
but yet again
like many times before,
i can't help it.
wondering eyes,
wandering hands,
tongue afraid yet keen to explore
heart on your sleeve:
you innocent fool.
so fragile, so honest:
your naive smiles draw me closer into you
and i must...
i must...
alter.
you let me.
because you don't know any better
and i'm found asking myself
was i like this too?
in the beginning?
pure innocence
how i delight in that
but i can't help but feel guilt
of my indulgent sin
when i show you the way.
there are no boundaries
perhaps in time, you'll put some up
perhaps it's better that you start now.
take it from me-
they come in handy.
i'm sick of all the hurt,
broken promises and pain
that many men before have so kindly
dished out to me.
don't let the same happen to you- i don't want to be your first.
but i can't help but feel guilt
of my indulgent sin
when i show you the way.
