A Tale Of A Broken Heart 28-01-2004

dont wanna be your doormat anymore baby
please leave your shit at someone elses door
cant handle feeling this way anymore baby
theres nothing more i can offer you

it pricks my heart
to watch you walk away
i want your heart to bleed
just so you can feel
what i feel for you

im trying to peel off the skin
that you touched
im trying to tear away the memories
you left behind

but its hard
because i dont know how i will go on
without feeling the feelings
ive longed for forever

without gazing into those eyes
that ive dreamt about for eternity

because i dont think you will be the light
that i need to show me the way

you are not the one.

This part is the one i like the most in this great overall poem. Both loss and anger can be seen in it and in between there is sadness. Very nice work!
