Poem: Alone

Alone

I now sleep alone
With no man by my side,
It’s not as easy as it sounds
I feel empty inside.
I now live alone
Pointlessly with no goal,
I have no hopes and no dreams
I barely have my soul.

Alone, I’m so scared
Alone, I’m afraid
I go to sleep at night
In the bed that we laid

I now speak alone
With no voice to hold my back,
No one will stand up for me
And I’m falling off track.
I am but alone
And my life isn’t clear,
Will you return after dawn?
And hold me tight, through my fear.


Alone, I’m so scared
Alone, I’m afraid
Come back to my life,
To the path that you strayed.

I feel you...well the other way around atleast since i am a man. lol. I definitely can relate myself to alot of this..

Especially this part: "I feel empty inside.
I now live alone
Pointlessly with no goal,
I have no hopes and no dreams
I barely have my soul."

I can relate wholly with the hopeless feel of this one...
