How common is PMA in the US? What are the effects compared to MDMA? Any info will be appreciated for the sake of harm reduction.
 
Doses of less than 50 milligrams (usually one pill) causes symptoms like Ecstasy; increased breathing, body temperature, pulse rate and blood pressure, erratic eye movements, muscle spasms, nausea and heightened visual stimulation. Dosages over60-80 mg (lower than those used regularly for Ecstasy) are considered potentially lethal. They can cause cardiac arrhythmia and arrest, breathing problems, pulmonary congestion, kidney failure, hypothermia, vomiting, convulsions, coma and death.

Not sure of its appearance in US, i live in UK
 
It is extremely rare in the US. No need to worry bout it really especially if ur testing everything. Testing saves money and lives! !
 
Pretty sure it was PMA that has caused several deaths in the UK recently. Sounds pretty rough. I'd stick to crystal MDMA tbh.
 
PMA is a bitch of a drug - will not show up on standard tests, Marquis will give positive etc.

It is without doubt pretty toxic / dangerous and can lead to death at a relatively small dose.
 
as far as i know it can be a left over chemical in the synth of mdma so some pills that contain mdma can have pma in them and test up positive for mdma but there will be no other indications that pma is there. I think that was the case with the E=mc2 pills that have killed people in the UK recently. STAY AWAY!
 
Nowadays are more dangerous than ever IMO because pills are not very strong, so often you need more than one to roll. Now, you might take one and feel something but not be sure what it is, so you take another and instead of starting to roll...now you've got a bunch of dirty shit in your system. Like i know for myself, there just aren't any rolls in the NE that are strong enough to make me roll off one, but even when i test, i'm still nervous to take two at once when i have something new or a new batch even. I won't do it because if there's some garbage in there, i could be screwed. It sucks.
 
I would think, yeah PMA is rare. You must test your mdma pills/powder/crystal. It is the shit that you ain't testing for that is surprising. You gonna have a non reactive result on pipes or some other bs, (poss PMA) test positive possibly speed or research chems such as methylone or the tryptamine, 5-meo-mipt. I would not want to unknowingly dose 2 meo pills I thought were mdma. I hate it that some BL'ers cannot trust the regions they live in for quality chemical. Stay Testing, take trash back to where you got it and give it back. Fuck rouge dealers pushing garbage. Sorry, I know nothing of the effect only that it is not mdma. Well, I can think of one, death. dma is dimethoxyamphetamine
thats more related to DOx than anything, and i dont think DMA is especially likely to kill either...i dont think DMA/DOx would act as MAOIs in high doses, try again.
 
As I am sure all of you know, fuck novelty press/cuts. I have seen people love smurfs and turtle heads. I do note I have not spotted a yellow turtle head.

No one cares about ravers. Im sure some of them were, just not that much coverage

a good friend of mine's friend was actually one of them. Like half the people who took those pills went to the hospital, the other half thought they were mescaline :|


^there were a smaller amount of green heads out too, I think those were just a lower dose DMA

Marquis gives positive to PMA? I thought I read PMA tested negative to the marquis? I've never tested it though so I wouldn't know for sure...

According to the ecstasydata Mitsubishi reports, the marquis had "no reaction"
 
I have to apologise - PMA will not not show up on the marquis test at all (Stupid mistake). I was inferring that a MDxx/MDx/Pma pill would give a positive reaction to the marquis as I have never seen a pure PMA pill before (the ones I have seen/taken) were a mixture.
