PMA question?

I just wanted to know if you can determine if PMA is in a pill.If so what is the reaction...

a marquis reagent, like an EZ test, Dancesafe kit or Chem Gen E test, will give a clear, no reaction to PMA.
all of the above manufacturers are about to release second generation tester kits which maybe able to give a more definitive result...

So theoretically, if some chemist were to put PMA and MDxx into a pill the reagent would give the normal purple/black reaction? I'm pretty sure there was a discussion of this a couple of months ago but I can't search for that now.
I know that this is an unlikely scenario but it is scary..

You're correct... same thing applies to pills cut with speed or meth..
The purple prevails, and you can't really tell there are other substances in there..
thats where TLC and GC/MS come in

If MDxx was cut with speed/meth you would not see some orange swirling around in there? The black/purple would overpower the orange totally so you could not see orange at all?
Does the same hold true for all other non-Mdxx substances? Will the black/purple overpower everything else?

No, with mixed substances, you'll get ugly reactions telling you it is no good.

Yes, but in the end, the darker colour will prevail, and still, you would have no positive id on the other substance(s).
I have seen these ugly tests before... they look like muddy puddles of ick
