Technical Problem PM notification emails

This has been going on for some months but I left hoping it would resolve itself.

I use a Gmail account for BL and over the last few months (sorry not sure when this started) I noticed that Emails informing me I have received a PM were taking an age to arrive in my gmail account.

Latest :-

I've checked by sending mails from other accounts and its also clear from things like registration emails that there is no inherent delay with my gmail account.

It's no big deal, I just wondered whether it was a known issue

I'm using a hotmail account, and email notifications are delayed. Could the delay be caused by the new hardware?
 
Still happening, not a big deal but I doubt it's Gmail or any of my systems, it seems the BL server isn't sending out the notification or they are getting stored and forwarded somewhere

Just to be sure I've tested my gmail from a couple of other sources and receipt and subsequent notification on my mobile is pretty much instant.

For me anyway this problem is quite new, maybe a month not sure, no biggy anyhow.:)


Edit - Today it's become clear this problem only effects PM notifications, I get RP stuff almost instantly :sus:
