Plugging problems

I recently picked up some 12mg Hydromorph Contins. They're a Canadian thing, I'm told, and they come in gelcaps. Inside the gelcaps are tiny balls that are diamond hard. After trying to crush them up for half an hour, I realized that this stuff doesn't turn to powder, it just breaks into tinier balls.

I decided to plug them, and so I got an oral syringe without a needle. I put the crushed balls in some warm water, and tried to dissolve them, but no luck, totally not water soluble. They just sunk to the bottom and sat there.

So I tried anyway, sticking em in the syringe and sticking it up there. I released the water a few times, but I noticed that the bulk of the "powder" was crammed together, near the tip of the syringe, and only the water was getting in and out. I did notice a slight buzz, so Im getting some in, but it's totally inefficient.

Any suggestions? I think the syringe is not going to work for this material. Are there gelcaps I can use, that would dissolve up there?
