i am a bit of a self proclaimed expert on plugging.
When you plug pills, there are certain guidelines you have to follow, regardless of pill.
1. You want to crush your tablet, and disolve it warm/cold water. Whatever makes it dissolve. Ideally you dilute it down so you have roughly 30cc's to work with.
2. pH of solution needs to be shifted towards 7. Morphine solution at pH 5.5 absorbs much more poorly than at pH 6.5 for example. There is data out there confirming the dependence of pH and rectal administration, i just can't be bothered to find it atm. Baking soda and urine pH strips are your weapon of choice here.
3. For administration, it helps to use a 130ml enema bottle. Apart from injecting the liquid into your anal cavity, also inject maybe 50cc's of air or so. This will widen your anal cavity and help the liquid make contact with your intestinal lining.
Under no circumstances should you
1. Put a whole pill up your rectum
It should always be disolved in water first. Weather you filter or not is not really crucial here. 30cc's seems to be the magic number for me.
Preparing drugs for anal administration is no different than prepraing them for IV use. Would you shove a god damn pill into your vein? No, you disolve it first. Same for plugging. It is SO much more effective when done this way.
A pill has no way to break down and dissolve in your anus, it will probably sit there until you shit it out. If you dissolve the drug in water, the water including drug will be absorbed by your colon (one of it's main functions is absorbing water) RAPIDLY in no time at all, nearly 100% complete.
and to all the people snickering about "putting things up your ass": Grow up. Anal administration is highly favourable to IV administration, and is extensively used in the medical field. It is a safe, reliable method to get a higher bioavailability out of your DOC. 120mg codeine plugged feels like 240mg of codeine eaten orally.
