I recently got put on morphine by my doc. I have been wanting to plug some since the orral BA is low and nasal is a flat out waste. I have the purple 30 mg time release ones with a 30 on one side and an M on the the other. From what I hear these these gel up when you get them wet so using a needless syringe wont do any good. Would the pill still absorb good if I just shove it up there; would the fact it gels up when wet hinder the absorbtion?
Right now my doc has me on 90 mgs of morphine and 40 mgs of hydrocodone a day. I pretty much always take the morphine as I am saposed to and don't break the time release. I was thinking of just plugging 15mgs would be a good dose to start since rectal BA is like 90% while orral is around 40-50%.
