A quick forum search doesn't turn up a plugging topic.
There is mention of plugging in the Wiki, but the information contained therein is inaccurate and the article seems to have been written by somebody with little experience of plugging.
Plugging can be an effective and enjoyable way to use mdma.
It has the advantage that by plugging the user can avoid the nausea often experienced by those using the oral route.
General Remarks
The dosage remains the same. The great difference is that the mdma is absorbed more quickly from the rectum than the stomach.
The come-up is consequently rather more abrupt.
It is often said that the roll is shorter. This does not agree with my experience.
How to
Obtain a syringe (without needle), or a lube shooter, or a vaginal applicator.
Crush your pill or weigh out your dose.
Suck up some clean water into your syringe and squeeze it into a small clean glass.
If your syringe is very small, the average lube shooter contains max. 40 ml of liquid, you might want to use two applications.
Tip the crushed pill or your powder into the water in the glass.
Gently swirl until it is completely dissolved. Bits that don't dissolve are filler.
Lubricate your anus with a suitable lubricant, vaseline, aquaglide or whatever
Put a little lube on the tip of the syringe too.
Suck the liquid into the syringe.
Place the tip of the syringe into your bum and slide the barrel in as deep as it can go, taking care not to hurt yourself.
Depress the plunger and gently withdraw the syringe.
If you have used extra water repeat the process until all the liquid has been used up.
Lie down and don't try farting for at least fifteen minutes.
Once you have gained experience with this method you don't have to lie down.
You should start to feel the effects after about 15 minutes.
Tip
Lube shooters and vaginal applicators have a rounded tip which makes them easier to insert in your bum.
If you are with your special friend, you can have extra fun by dosing each other.

The Big Dandy Plugging Thread is somewhat diffuse though and the other thread has been written by somebody more interested in opiates than mdma.
I should repeat that there is very little point in sticking a tablet or a gel cap up your bum, because there is usually not enough moisture up there to dissolve such a thing satisfactorily.
Would you take the same dosage as you would orally?
