Plugging Heroin first time question?

I am going to be doing heroin for the first time tonight. I have plugged before and know what I'm doing. My question is in regards to the prep of the heroin itself, I have looked all over and can't find an answer.

Question: Do I need to heat the heroin/water in a spoon before drawing into the syringe and plugging like you would IV use? I assume so, but just want to make sure.

Please don't post telling me not to do it, that it's bad, etc. I have already made up my mind. I just want an answer, thank you.

Procedure should be the same as IV. If you have pure pharm-grade diamorph, you shouldn't need heat. Some forms of street heroin may need to be heated, though.
